Refund & Return Policy

How returns, exchanges and refunds work for physical kits and for membership.

01Return window

Unused, unopened and resaleable items can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Maker members have a 60-day window. Start a return by emailing support@jmbjoinery.shop with your order number.

02Hygiene and consumable exceptions

For hygiene and safety reasons, opened craft consumables — modeling clay, glue and glue sticks, fabric, thread, beads and similar single-use materials — are not eligible for change-of-mind returns once unsealed. This does not affect your rights where an item is faulty, damaged or not as described.

03Faulty or damaged items

If an item arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, contact us within 30 days for a free replacement or full refund, including any return shipping. Please include a photo where possible so we can resolve it quickly.

04How refunds are issued

Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method via Stripe, usually within 5–10 business days of us receiving the return. Original shipping is refunded only where the return is due to our error or a faulty item.

05Non-returnable items

  • Opened craft consumables (clay, glue, fabric, thread, beads) unless faulty.
  • Items returned after the applicable window, or without proof of purchase.
  • Items showing use, damage or missing parts caused after delivery.

06Membership cancellations

Membership is a subscription you can cancel any time from your account or via the Stripe customer portal. Benefits remain active until the end of the period you have paid for; we do not pro-rate part-periods, and benefits do not roll over. See Membership.
